| So. It is 7:45 a.m. Your mind is asleep and slowing thinking about the to-do list and how to kick off your day. Then...
Someone says "Hi. How are you?"
Is it really that rude of me to not want to say hi back to people first thing in the morning? I am just not in the mood.
Another situation, you meet up with your group of regular friends for Friday night drinks/dinner. They ask, "How's work been?"
Is that a hypocritical question? Yes. Do you really wish to know the truth. Work is good. Yay right.
The more candid answer I give, "I think it's going well, just busy." Why do people always ask these questions around socialising with others. Not real questions that related to what you last spoke about. Perhaps no one has friends around the office. Perhaps no one has real friends so they go out with "friends" on a Friday night.
Colleagues = friends. Not sure. If I had to see my work colleagues outside of work. Gosh...that would be appalling, it's like hiring like someone wanting to work together on a work presentation over the weekend. No. I do not want to be in that sort of industry. Or is it just me, perhaps other people do have work colleagues who are friends, perhaps it's just me with colleagues and friday night friends...

| The old saying goes:
"Time flies"
The world around us has become customed to pace, speed, connectivity and ease of life. Does it imply then that we no longer treasure those moments that we used to have? Those pieces of history, experiences and moments? Like this blog, I have not been on here for a long time, reading back, from 2003, I have come a long way. This is a bit like a time capsule, reminding me of who I was. I suppose, this showed that as time flies, I have grown up and learnt more about myself as well. Has moments like these happened to you? Moments like these where you perplex and think about about the old you, you realise, time is the most precious commodity, it's not the money, jewells or the next big thing, it's time, that is what is precious.
| Does anyone still use Xanga? Seems like I have neglected this website for so long. Everyone is now using facebook heaps more. I suppose my own life had been too filled with other occupants. Work, friends, travelling etc.
How's everything with everyone anyways?

| People latch on to things so quickly. Like fire..things have spread. The deep roots of facebook have spread is wide wide web to my office. Now to my managers....oh dear.
I am sure many of us have encountered this. Looking over the desk next to us and seeing someone you did not expect have facebook and or my space. I do not mind the constant conversation surrounding random and non-private type talking. But sharing my private time too much with colleagues is a thought that had not yet crossed my mind. It is quite a surprise to stumble upon seeing my manager on facebook. Recently one of my friend's manager asked her to use her facebook account to do something a bit...em...dodgy. Like being a stalker and overly friend.
Have this happened to you. Have the WWW destroyed an sense of privacy.
